Glossary
The language of Revenue Flow Architecture™.
Clear definitions of the methodology, the platform, and the offering, written by the practitioners who use them every day.
The methodology
- Revenue Flow Architecture™
- Inselligence's methodology for engineering how leads, opportunities, and accounts flow through a commercial system, designing process and roles first and tools second, so the system produces revenue with the repeatability and predictability operations teams bring to output. A four stage discipline: Architecture, Design, Automation, and Operating Rhythm.
- Architecture Before Automation
- The governing principle that process, roles, and stage definitions must be designed before any CRM, CPQ, or AI is configured. Technology and AI scale whatever is underneath them; deployed onto an unengineered process, they scale the problem rather than solve it.
- Architecture
- The first stage of Revenue Flow Architecture™: diagnosing and quantifying the commercial system. Where the pipeline is leaking value, where the forecast is unreliable, and where the operating model is breaking. Delivered in the Diagnostic.
- Design
- The second stage: redesigning the operating model, meaning process, roles, definitions, and governance, as the blueprint before the build, with a quantified business case.
- Automation
- The third stage: deploying technology on top of the redesigned model. CRM configuration, the Inselligence Platform, and AI enablement, in the right order and never before the design.
- Operating Rhythm
- The fourth stage: the executive cadence of pipeline, forecast, and capacity reviews that turns a new commercial system into management discipline.
- Architecture first transformation
- Designing the commercial operating model before deploying technology, including telling a client when the answer is not technology.
- Stage design
- Defining pipeline stages by what must be true for a deal to advance, with explicit entry and exit criteria, rather than by where a deal happens to sit.
The firm and how it works
- Services as Software
- A delivery model in which a professional service is led by senior practitioners and delivered through a technology infrastructure. The infrastructure produces scalability, efficiency, lower cost, and a consistent, reliable experience; the practitioner provides the judgment. Inselligence delivers its revenue operations practice as Services as Software.
- Practitioner led revenue operations
- Revenue operations consulting in which every engagement is led by a senior practitioner who has run the function, rather than a partner fronting a junior team. The practitioners are the service; the platform is the leverage.
- Non SaaS B2B revenue operations
- Revenue operations built for project based, relationship driven, long cycle B2B businesses such as industrial, construction, and B2B services firms, rather than the transactional SaaS playbook most RevOps tooling assumes.
- Vertical fluency
- Deep operating experience in a named industry, which lets findings land with leadership teams in a way generalist consulting cannot.
- Tech stack agnostic
- Recommending the CRM, marketing automation, and sales tooling that best fit a client's architecture, never biased by a vendor relationship. At Inselligence the only proprietary technology is the Inselligence Platform.
The platform and deterministic AI
- The Inselligence Platform
- Deterministic software that delivers four capabilities, Forecast Accuracy, Pipeline Health, Capacity Planning, and Revenue Flow Visibility, and sustains the operating model after a transformation. Built on patent pending algorithms with thirty years of technical lineage. Explore the platform.
- Deterministic AI
- Analytical models that produce the same output from the same input every time, with every result explainable. Applied to revenue forecasting, it yields forecasts a CFO can audit line by line, unlike generative models that produce plausible but variable output.
- Deterministic forecasting
- Revenue forecasting built on auditable, reproducible math: the same inputs give the same, explainable output, rather than a generative estimate or a judgment call.
- Defensible vs. plausible
- The distinction between deterministic and generative AI in revenue work: generative AI builds plausible sentences; deterministic AI builds defensible forecasts. Revenue forecasting requires the second.
- CFO grade forecast
- A revenue forecast that is reproducible, explainable, and board ready, so a finance leader can defend every line.
- Forecast Accuracy
- The platform capability that produces auditable, reproducible, explainable forecasts, delivered through the KPI and forecast dashboard with actual versus target views.
- Pipeline Health
- Quantified flow analysis by stage, with deterministic signals on where the pipeline leaks value and which stages create friction. It answers the question most revenue leaders cannot answer with confidence: is our pipeline healthy?
- Capacity Planning
- Reading deal load against the real capacity of the people carrying the pipeline, so over and under resourcing is explicit and the forecast is resourced, not merely projected.
- Deal load
- The volume of active opportunities carried by a seller, team, or segment, measured against the capacity required to work them properly.
- Revenue Flow Visibility
- The executive operating layer that consolidates forecast, pipeline, and capacity into one integrated leadership view of the commercial system.
- Native CRM connectivity
- Pre established API connections to the major CRMs, Salesforce and HubSpot foremost, so a read only connection takes minutes with no custom integration work.
- The forecast accuracy gap
- Only 6% of sales organizations reach 95% forecast accuracy or better, and the average is 82% (Gartner, G00817312, March 2026). More data entry has not closed the gap, because the problem is architectural.
- The data integration gap
- 70% of sales leaders cannot integrate customer data across their systems (Gartner, G00817312, March 2026). The cause is the commercial architecture, not a shortage of technology.
The offering
- Revenue Flow Snapshot
- A complimentary, 48 hour, senior led preview of a commercial system, run on the client's own CRM data through a read only connection. It delivers three findings: where the pipeline leaks value, which stages create friction, and where forecast confidence is unjustified. Request a Snapshot.
- The Diagnostic
- Phase 1: a two week, senior led architectural assessment of a revenue operating system, producing a quantified roadmap, an operating model redesign specification, and a business case. Fixed fee.
- The Transformation
- Phase 2: a 12 week implementation sprint with six modular workstreams: Process Redesign, CRM Configuration, Platform Deployment, AI Enablement, Seller Enablement, and Management Cadence. Fixed fee.
- The Embedded Practice
- Phase 3: the ongoing senior practitioner partnership that sustains and evolves the operating model after the Transformation, with investment that steps down as milestones are met.
- Platform subscription
- Phase 4: the Inselligence Platform as an annual subscription, priced as a monthly base fee plus a per seat fee across Mid Market, Growth, and Enterprise tiers.
The First Step
Start with a Revenue Flow Snapshot.
A complimentary, senior led preview of your commercial system. We connect to your CRM, run our deterministic analysis against your pipeline, and deliver an executive readout in 48 hours.
Not a demo. Not a sales call. A credentialed analytical exercise that earns the right to a deeper conversation.
